Astronomers stunned by rare DOUBLE asteroid — NASA asteroid WARNING

Dual Asteroids

Last month, a nearby asteroid approaching the Earth would position two atoms of two atoms and reveal new observations in three of the world's largest radial telescopes. The combined radar and optical observations of YE5 may allow researchers to estimate the densities of the two objects, giving researchers a better understanding of their composition, internal structure and how they formed. Most of the binary systems that have been witnessed consist of two objects of wildly different sizes. Equal-mass binaries like 2017 YE5 are much rarer. And they showed the objects do not reflect as much sunlight as a typical rocky asteroid. It is estimated that among asteroids larger than 650 feet (200 meters) found near Earth only 15% are binaries "with one larger object and a much smaller satellite".

Past year during observations, NASA scientists discovered the asteroid 2017 YE5. But the object (s) didn't come closest to us until June 21, 2018.

The new images produced by the telescopes are the most detailed ever of this type of binary asteroid and indicate that its two components are each about 3,000 feet (900 meters) in size. This may indicate that the binary asteroid was actually originally two separate objects that were drawn into a mutual orbit when in close proximity. In addition, NASA values the work of numerous highly skilled amateur astronomers, whose accurate observational data helps improve asteroid orbits after discovery. A team of scientists from the Palomar Observatory in the United States July 8, 2018 fixed in the Solar system from two previously unidentified asteroid. However, the angle of the rotating system made it hard for scientists to see if the two objects were actually separated.

Eventually, both the objects rotated to expose a different distinction between them.

Stone's messages suggest he is unnamed person in new Russia indictment
Stone also told ABC News that he had never spoken with Assange. "I think I probably am the person referred to", he said. Stone also told CNN that the documents "don't provide any evidence of collaboration or collusion".

On June 24, astronomers at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico collaborated with their colleagues at the Green Bank Observatory (GBO) in West Virgina to use their observatories in a bi-static radar configuration (Arecibo transmitted the radar signal and Green Bank received the return signal). This was confirmed with visible-light observations of brightness variations by Brian Warner at the Center for Solar System Studies in Rancho Cucamonga, California. 2017 YE5 is likely as dark as charcoal.

An asteroid first discovered in December of previous year has now been revealed to be a unique system featuring two objects locked in a dance around their own binary orbit.

Surprisingly, even if this is one of the few equal mass binary systems ever seen by humans, the Goldstone images show that there's a stark difference between the two objects' radar reflectivity, which is not the case in other binary systems on record.

First to suggest the prospect is NASA's Goldstone Solar System Radar, which observed two distinct lobes.
