UK Labour leader Corbyn blasts PM May over Brexit…

Sir Keir Starmer has waded into a row over Labour's new anti Semitism guidance

He says it is conceivable that there is "no majority in parliament for any Brexit deal" and that in those circumstances they had to look at all options.

"It does feel like the Government is in meltdown and the difficulty with that is that there are millions of families out there who need this deal to go through".

Theresa May raised the prospect of a Jeremy Corbyn-led government to appeal for Tory unity on Brexit. "It's time for the Labour party to give up the idea of a second referendum".

But shadow worldwide trade secretary Barry Gardiner told the programme "it is absolutely not our policy" to have a second referendum.

Labour Peer Lord Adonis called for a second referendum following the resignation of David Davis.

He suggested that the best interests of the United Kingdom and the best economic interests of the United Kingdom "are not the same thing" - and the referendum result had to be respected.

Labour today demanded Theresa May and her Government stand aside claiming she has lost control of Brexit and her own authority.

"She talked about Corbyn, she talked about the alternative which is delivering the country to the sort of government that I don't think people have voted for and certainly any Conservative voter would be repelled by".
