Tyler Perry warned fans

Similar "like-farming" scams have used Oprah Winfrey's name in the past.

"The "Diary of Mad Black Woman" star added that "[his] team has to shut down these things everyday", referring to scams.

Recently Perry gave Girls Trip actress Tiffany Haddish a Tesla.

Tiffany said she was touched by the gesture, and said he purchased her the auto 'out of the kindness of his heart'. We guess now everybody has their hand out.

He says he doesn't know who the scammers are but have to get dozens of pages shut down because of it.

But if such posts seem too good to be true, it's because they are, Perry said.
