A general view of the inside of a new Apple store in Chicago, Illinois, U.S., October 19, 2017.

In a freakish heist that was caught on camera, a crew of thieves allegedly made off with $27,000 (Rs 18.6 lakh) worth of Apple laptops and iPhones in mere seconds. Four men in hooded jackets entered the Apple Store, picked up several Apple products, and fled with what is reported to be $27,000 (roughly Rs. 18,57,000) worth of goods. Another pair can be seen working swiftly to yank out the iPhones as terrified shoppers look for cover. One of the thieves, with an arm full of laptops, scurried past a group of frightened teenage girls.

With large numbers of very expensive computers sitting openly on tables, it's not a surprise that Apple Stores are temping to thieves. "One customer stood by the door to prevent them from leaving but was knocked out of the way".

"There are other reports, of other places, other cities in California that have had these kinds of takeover thefts", Lt. Mark Hudson of the Fresno Police Department told ABC News.

Police are now searching for the thieves which they believe to be between 16 and 18-year-olds.

Police described the suspects only as four black men and are offering a cash reward for any information that leads to an arrest. According to police, the suspects never displayed any weapons. We have frequently heard and seen Apple Stores getting robbed with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of products getting stolen. "So we are looking into [this crime] being connected to other crimes, at any other Apple Stores outside of Fresno". However, the latest robbery which occurred at the Apple Store in Huntington Station in NY was pretty weird.
