The 33-year-old Los Angeles Laker, according to Variety Wednesday, is working with writer Steve Mallory on a comedy film - which has been sold to Paramount Players - he would co-produce and potentially headline.

LeBron is set to produce the film with his SpringHill partner Maverick Carter. Paramount Players' Ali Bell and Gabby Canton are also involved with the project.

Now that LeBron James has ended his tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers, possibly for good this time, there are more reports about what happened between he and Kyrie Irving that continue to surface.

James is no stranger to movies, as he had a part in the Amy Schumer movie Trainwreck in which he played himself. The famed basketball player is fresh off of signing his new four year $154M contract with the Los Angeles Lakers which is one of the biggest deals ever in NBA history. That project allowed him to become a member of the Producers Guild.
