Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri has declined a move to Chelsea, with the Ivorian midfielder sealing a move to Fulham today.

The Ivory Coast global had been linked with a host of clubs around Europe and Goal had recently reported that the player was keen on a move to Serie A side Napoli, but he has evidently been convinced that a move to the Cottagers was the best option for him.

The 26-year-old came within a whisker of signing for Barcelona last summer and has been heavily linked with moves to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United in recent months, so this is a major coup for Fulham.

"I'm also happy to have joined up with a good friend, Jean Michael Seri".
