British PM May urges her party to back EU Brexit plan: Spokesman

Boris Johnson David Davis

Bradley said that the Brexit plan agreed by the Cabinet last week at Chequers would damage the UK's opportunities to develop global trade and be "an outward-looking nation in control of our own destiny" following Brexit.

Set to be published in a white paper on Thursday, the plan envisages Britain continuing to trade freely with the remaining European Union in goods under a "common rulebook", while accepting restrictions on trade in services.

Mrs May will release the Brexit White Paper today which will lay out her intentions for a Brexit deal.

Britain voted for Brexit in June 2016, but May has so far been unable to present a common position to Brussels on what she wants because of deep divisions in her government.

Other eurosceptics who want a clean break with the bloc are also livid, prompting speculation they may launch a confidence vote against May.

But top Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg described the agreement as a "breakdown in trust" and said Mrs May needed to alter her course or face having to rely on Labour votes to get it through parliament.

When the plans for the common rule book were revealed last week, Brexiteer MPs complained that they made a trade deal with the United States impossible, although the government denies this.

"We deliver that Brexit and we do it in a way that protects jobs and livelihoods and meets our commitment to Northern Ireland".

Centre approves telecom authority’s recommendations on net neutrality
The fight for net neutrality in India was a hot topic in 2016, when Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had floated a consultation paper on the topic.

But leading Eurosceptic Bernard Jenkin played down the prospects of more walkouts from Mrs May's administration. "We are supporting Theresa for PM".

"It takes 48 Conservative members out of a total of 60 to trigger a leadership challenge; however, we are unlikely to see the challenge happen because there is not yet the belief that they have the numbers to effectively oust Theresa May", Hoez added.

"There is a whole range of scenarios in which they get no Brexit, or an indefinitely delayed Brexit, or a change of government or a second referendum".

She told BBC Two's Newsnight: "I think if the Prime Minister makes further concessions with the European Union then there will no doubt be more resignations from Brexiteers in the Cabinet, from junior ministers to PPSs, because there is only so much that you can give in a negotiation". "But the United Kingdom certainly has a lot of things going on", he said.

"Our priority around Brexit is to ensure that Australia secures a free trade agreement with the United Kingdom that's as beneficial to both countries as possible, as soon as possible", Mr Pyne said.

Raab, May's new Brexit minister, will suggest that such criticism was not justified.

The ex-MP said there was a "plan" to curtail the role of the Brexit department. Tusk is a previously served as Prime Minister of Poland from 2007 to 2014 and was a co-founder and chairman of the Civic Platform political party.

It comes as federal minister Christopher Pyne reassured the United Kingdom that Australia will have a good relationship with the country's new foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt following Boris Johnson's resignation.
