Mike Pence: 'I Do' Still Want Roe v. Wade Overturned

Why conservatives should support Roe v. Wade

Speaking with Dana Bash on CNN's Situation Room, Mr. Pence clearly expressed his belief in the sanctity of human life while eluding Bash's attempts to ensnare him.

"Are you anxious that he's not going to follow what you want to do?"

At the briefing, the Democratic lawmaker held up the metal coat hanger while discussing Kavanaugh and the potential for the Trump nominee to vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark case that guaranteed a woman's right to an abortion.

But the bigger unknown is now centered around Kavanaugh's so far undisclosed position on abortion rights and the landmark Supreme Court decision in Roe vs. Wade.

The tubes will be handed off to the rocket which will then blast off and hopefully make its way back to Earth. NASA and ESA signed a letter of intent in April 2018 to pursue a Mars Sample Return mission.

Meanwhile, pro-life groups like Alaska Right to Life say they're cautious about the nominee. "We want people to go that respect the Constitution, respect the Constitution as written, will not legislate from the bench, and President Trump and I are absolutely convinced that Judge Kavanaugh is exactly the kind of jurist that the American people - in the majority - want to see on the Court". And if Roe v. Wade is overturned, will that mean the end of legal abortions in our country?

In an effort to force Pence's hand, Ms. Bash pushed harder, reminding the vice president of words spoken during the 2016 campaign. "This administration, this president are pro-life, but what the American people ought to know is that, as the president said today, this is not an issue that he discussed with Judge Kavanaugh". "Will you be disappointed?"

"I don't have an impression on judge Kavanaugh as to where he may fall on the issue of abortion, as well as the many other issues that I will weigh as we move forward with this process", Murkowski said, "So again, that's why I think all of us need to be doing our due diligence". "This administration, this president, are pro-life".

Pence said that Trump chose Kavanaugh as a nominee for his "credentials" and "judicial philosophy" ― not specifically to overturn Roe v. Wade.
