Liverpool goalkeeper's nightmare 2018 season continues, back with another howler in friendly

Jurgen Klopp

A Tranmere player was caught on camera shouting 'you're f****** s***' at Loris Karius after the Liverpool goalkeeper made another blunder in a pre-season friendly.

Karius, who cost Liverpool dearly with a pair of very bad mistakes in the Champions League final against Real Madrid, spilled Ollie Norburn's free-kick and Jonny Smith scored on the rebound.

Tranmere's official Twitter account initially posted a video of the howler but quickly took it down.

Karius was at fault for two goals in Liverpool's 3-1 defeat by Real Madrid in the Champions League final, but it was later revealed he had concussion.

"We can not change that". Our job is to support Loris, that's our part of the deal.

"You (the media) can all stop it immediately - promise?"

Zlatko Dalic says Croatia's World Cup progress is no surprise
Mr Corbyn's shadow foreign secretary Emily Thornberry was first to raise the idea at the beginning of the tournament, when England were seen as a longshot to bring football home.

"It is obvious, we don't have to hide it".

But, while many questioned Karius' position as Liverpool's number one, Klopp backed his man ahead of the new season, but the latest instalment of his goalkeeping mishaps may force Klopp into the transfer market ahead of the new season next month. I've seen this situation 500 times at least in my life - bam, against the chest, going down. We can't make a story after each mistake.

"I don't like it, you don't like it, he doesn't like it, but they do happen. We need to cool down the whole situation; let's play football, let's work on our weaknesses and use our strength and then everything will be good".

He said: "No one likes that goal but, if we talk about that, then the second goal is Milly's [James Milner's] fault".

'Two brilliant footballers make mistakes but we only talk about one.
