Newcastle reach agreement with Chelsea winger over loan deal
The winger spent the second half of last season on loan from Chelsea.
Rafa Benitez was so impressed with what he saw of Kenedy, he's made his move to re-sign him. The deal, however, is thought to be another loan deal after Chelsea were believed to have quoted £30 million to make the deal permanent.
Kenedy will return to Newcastle United on loan, according to a report.
There was hope at Chelsea that Kenedy could establish himself as an alternative to Marcos Alonso at left wing-back but he did not earn Conte's trust, making only five appearances across the Carabao Cup and FA Cup between August and January.
It would appear that the Magpies boss is working on a restricted budget once again this summer, so getting a player of Kenedy's calibre in on loan has the potential to be a massive deal for the club if he can replicate the form that he showed last season.
Southampton Close In On Leeds United Target Angus Gunn
Gunn, who graduated from Man City's academy, spent last season on loan at hometown club Norwich playing in the Championship. Gunn has represented England at various levels from Under-16s to Under-21s, winning 11 caps with the latter.
James McClean: West Brom midfielder refuses to attend training camp
According to the club, and several reporters, the winger wasn't given permission to miss the trip, and he will now be disciplined. New Stoke boss Gary Rowett tried and failed to capture McClean in January when he was the manager at Derby County.

The elder Hammond has served nearly three years of his sentence, while his son has been incarcerated for four years. Be Civil - It's OK to have a difference in opinion but there's no need to be a jerk.
He became a fan favourite during his short spell and now Rafael Benitez wants the 22-year-old to return.
The winger will join Newcastle for next season, though, as Benitez continues to press ahead with his summer dealings.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Newcastle United", said Kenedy.
Chelsea are yet to buy a single player this summer, as the prolonged uncertainty surrounding Conte and Sarri has had a paralysing effect on the club's transfer plans in a window already complicated by the World Cup and compressed by the Premier League's earlier deadline, set for August 9. A new manager would have ideas for him, but if he feels he could not fit into the new system as well, then a move could be on the cards.
It seems as though Kenedy's move to Newcastle is set to be confirmed in the near future, though, with the Daily Mail indicating that a deal has been wrapped up.
