India gears up to celebrate 4th International Yoga Day

The International Yoga Day 2018 is right upon us and will be acknowledged on June 21 worldwide and as for India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be seen leading at least 50,000 yoga enthusiasts on Thursday in order to celebrate the fourth edition of International Yoga Day at the huge campus of the Forest Research Institute (FRI) which is located in Uttarakhand, Dehradun. Adding that yoga has become the biggest mass movement "in the quest for good health and wellbeing", the prime minister said India should be honoured to be the "guardians of the great practice". Today, people all over the world have come to look upon yoga as something which belongs to them, Mr. Modi said.

"In a world suffering from mental stress, yoga promises calm". He said that Yoga is healing people instead of increasing their sufferings. Instead of further animosity, Yoga assimilates.

"As the Sun is for all, the Moon is for all, rivers are for all, in the same way yoga is for all", he said.

After the Yoga session, the officials presented the Guinness World Records certificate mentioning. Yoga is lovely because it is ancient yet modern, and it is constantly evolving, he said.
