Fortnite Battle Royale Getting Stink Bomb Gas Grenade

Fortnite dev's Epic Games fix for the accidental swastika issue

Revealed in the New Updates section of the in-game news tab, the Stink Bomb should be arriving in an upcoming update. Of course, it wouldn't be as fun if you didn't also get to know how it worked, right? You can check out a screenshot of the Stink Bomb, as well as it's description from the Fortnite Battle Royale subreddit below. The game publisher removed smoke grenades from the game previously due to their lack of use, however, the new addition of damage could cause greater implementation amongst players.

Taking everything into consideration, it will be interesting to see if Fortnite's popularity continues on an upward trajectory, for it seems as if Epic Games is prepared to support the free-to-play Battle Royale portion of the title well into the foreseeable future.

The stink bomb will help force opponents out of buildings and bases, where some players tend to camp out during the endgame.

Indeed, in order to improve the in-game animations, the Fortnite devs have chose to make the emotes a little more expressive and no less than 16 dances will be affected by the coming update.

Fortnite Stink Bomb: When Is the Release Date? Thursday, June 21 is when the update should become available, and that will probably implement this new grenade.
