John Boyega slams ‘Star Wars’ fans for harassing costars

John Boyega has a message for online trolls harassing his co-stars

So, George Lucas wanted to explore the role of the creatures called Whills and how they feed off the Force and control it.

Most people know that George Lucas sold his production company Lucasfilms to Disney in 2012, but what you might not know is that at the time, Lucas had ideas in the works for Star Wars Episode VII through Episode IX.

He followed up with a thank you shout-out to the fans who have been "putting themselves in the actor's shoes". But for now, fans can at least start theorizing with this little peek into the Star Wars that could have been. And in 2016's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the character of Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen) once was a devoted Guardian of the Whills. At one point, that was even the working title for Star Wars (you can find out more about that over here). While most of us like starting projects, it takes a lot more effort to finish them off, but that feeling is instantly more rewarding.

The midi-chlorians comment is mentioned as part of a larger conversation about AI and religion within the context of Star Wars. The Journal of the Whills was first introduced into the Star Wars canon in the novelization of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which opens with a quotation from the Journal.

Clarke was the first cricketer to record a double-century in ODIs when she scored 229 against Denmark in Mumbai in 1997. The earlier record of 229 not out in the name former Australian captain Belinda was set when Amelia was not even born.

This sounds like the kind of detail that would be fascinating in some kind of epic novel series, but would it have been the right direction for the Star Wars universe? He's attempting to explain the origins and objective of the sci-fi world he created by giving the universe its own creation myth. "And you know which of those two we're talking about here".

"All the way back to - with the Force and the Jedi and everything - the whole concept of how things happen was laid out completely from [the beginning] to the end". I never got to tell people about it.

"If I'd held onto the company I could've done it [seen the story through to its end], and then it would have been done".

The toxicity of the "Star Wars" fandom has reached new heights recently, and actor John Boyega, who plays Finn in the new trilogy of films, is sick of it. Boyega took to Twitter on Tuesday to call out fans for harassment in the wake of his co-star Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico in "The Last Jedi") deleting all of her Instagram photos.
