FBI agent who accidentally shot bar patron after dropping his gun while dancing charged with assault

The incident happened about 12:45 a.m. on June 2 at the Mile High Spirits bar.

A video of the incident that was released to the public shows Bishop, in a navy shirt and khaki trousers, completing a series of body rolls and a backflip, as a crowd stands around him.

He is due to appear on the charge on Wednesday. Police are also awaiting the results of a toxicology test, which could result in additional charges.

Chase Bishop presented himself to the Denver Sheriff's Department on Tuesday.

As he scrambled to pick up the handgun, it fired, shooting Thomas Reddington in the leg.

The agent, named by police as Chase Bishop, was performing a backflip in a nightclub when his gun fell out of his pocket and shot a bystander in the leg.

His gun fell out of his waistband holder and onto the floor. He then walks off the dance floor with his hands up. Even without that analysis, there was "sufficient evidence" to charge Bishop with assault, McCann said.

Jerome Boateng put up for sale by Bayern Munich
During a tournament there are situations with clubs that create interest around certain players. It's hard to believe that Boateng is a Manchester City reject.

According to police officials, a man in the crowd was shot in the leg and taken to a hospital.

"We sat down at one of these picnic tables and I heard a loud bang and thought, oh, some idiot set off a fire cracker", Reddington told Good Morning America. "All of a sudden, from the knee down my leg became completely red", Reddington, 24, said.

The venue goes on to say that a security team was able to "execute a catastrophic event plan" that ensured the safe exit of all patrons in the establishment after the shooting.

A former Federal Bureau of Investigation agent told 9NEWS that an agent who accidentally discharges a weapon will be automatically suspended for three days without pay.

The firearm went off when the agent picked it up.

In a statement posted on the Facebook of Mile High Spirits bar, Bishop's actions were condemned.
