John Cena Replacing Sylvester Stallone in Jackie Chan Action Flick

John CEna Jackie Chan

Former WWE superstar and current actor and entertainer John Cena is reportedly teaming up with movie star Jackie Chan in an upcoming action movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter. It feels like Cena is one great collaboration from being a bona fide action stud, and maybe Project X is the movie that will take him to that level.

The film, previously titled Ex-Baghdad, was once billed as Chan's first movie project with fellow action star Sylvester Stallone.

Under the working title of Project X Chan is playing the role of a security contractor who is called to the Middle East to extract workers from the Chinese-run oil refinery when it comes under attack.

Chan's character learns that the real plan is to steal a fortune in oil so he teams up with an American (played by Cena) to stop them.
