Galaxy Note 9 announcement slated for August 9 yet again

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Could Feature Bigger Battery

Samsung hasn't confirmed as yet when the Galaxy Note 9 announcement will take place but a recent report suggested that the handset may be unveiled on August 9.

The good news is that the ergonomics required to get to the fingerprint sensor on the Note 9 is less excruciating than the Note 8 as the pad would be below the camera.

This change of rear cameras from the S9+ vertical layout is, according to reliable leakster Ice Universe, due to battery size.

Cellphone review website GSM Arena said last Saturday after seeing a leaked image of a protective case that the Galaxy Note 9 "will have a horizontally mounted fingerprint reader on the back". Its battery obliterates many rival Android phones, such as the Sony Xperia XZ2's 3,180 mAh battery and HTC U12+'s 3,500 mAh battery, as well as its own predecessor, the Note 8, which only sported a 3,300mAh unit.

Teams gear up for the big event in Russian Federation
However, before Russian Federation kicks off against Saudi Arabia , fans should tune in to watch the World Cup Opening Ceremony. The trio released the official song of the World Cup "Live It Up" that attracted a mixed and divided response from the fans.

Samsung has troubles in the past with its batteries in the Galaxy Note series resulting in a recall of the device.

So, as we move toward the Galaxy Note 9, why are we seeing plans for another horizontal dual-camera system? After that, it dropped battery size.

The increase in battery size up to 4,000 mAh makes sense to us, as rumours of a massive SuperAMOLED screen, buckets of RAM, and powerful Exynos 9810/Snapdragon 845 processors means the Note 9 is going to have some pretty serious energy demands.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED QHD+ screen with 18:5:9 ratio which should offer HDR level quality.
