Bill Clinton Ripped for Saying ‘Norms Have Really Changed’ on Sexual Consent

The disgusting MSM’s rehabilitation of Monica Lewinsky

Clinton spoke with PBS as part of the promotional tour for his new thriller "The President is Missing", written with James Patterson.

The excerpt is from an article, posted at RealClearPolitics, quoting Clinton discussing and defending disgraced former Senator Al Franken. Al Franken's resignation from Congress, saying "the norms have really changed" since his tenure in the White House.

This may be my personal favorite, from the always on point Jane Coaston from Vox.

"I know some of the people on that team, and I'm sure they tried to prepare him", the CNN's chief Washington correspondent allowed, before laying into Clinton's handling of the sensitive subject matter. "He's saying that norms have changed in a variety of ways in how we interact with one another, and that's all for the good".

"I would think he would have had automatic answers for, 'Do you owe Monica Lewinski an apology?"

Clinton added, "You don't have to physically assault somebody to make them, you know, uncomfortable at work or at home or in their other - just walking around. And I think that all of us should just be focusing on how to do better and how to go forward".

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Officially Passes $2 Billion at the Box Office
The film was directed by Joe and Anthony Russo from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee were the executive producers.

In an interview with PBS "NewsHour" that aired last Friday, Clinton said he's pleased that American society appears to be raising its standards for workplace conduct.

"The Franken case, for me, was a difficult case, a hard case", the former president said.

"Bill, my dude, how about you stop talking" tweeted Refinery29 reporter Andrea González-Ramírez. "He was not suggesting that there was ever a time that it was acceptable to do something against someone's will".

Clinton has been doing interviews with various television networks while promoting his new book.

The former president said Franken's fate should have been decided by voters during his 2018 reelection bid, rather than by Senate Democrats, almost all of whom publicly called on Franken to resign last December. "So I did that".
