Meghan Markle's dad may return to hospital after 'heart attack'

Meghan Markle

A few days before Meghan Markle is set to marry Prince Harry, Piers Morgan, British journalist and victor of "Celebrity Apprentice", sat down with Meghan's estranged half-sister Samantha Markle for his show, "Good Morning Britain".

Samantha has been doing the rounds with endless interviews about her sister, Meghan. And besides, Samantha says whatever censorship laws the United Kingdom has on the books don't apply to her across the pond. even if Meg's now a big deal there.

"I wanted to see him go [to the wedding], I didn't want him deprived of that. But clearly the propriety should be whether or not it is safe for him to do that", Markle added. She said her father had "suffered at the hands of the media" and had decided "enough is enough". She took full responsibility for setting up her father Thomas' fake photo shoot.

Her chronic oversharing of life with her famous sister is intensifying as the hours tick down to Meghan Markle's wedding to Prince Harry, but not everyone is a fan of Samantha Markle airing all the family's dirty laundry.

Speaking to the Orlando-based sister of the royal-to-be on Good Morning Britain, Piers, 52, blasted the guest for using her family member to make money off of.

CNN has reached out to Thomas Markle for comment by phone and over email but has not yet received a response.

She also appeared to blame the media for causing Thomas to have a heart attack which has been claimed as the reason he won't be attending the wedding to walk Meghan down the aisle.

With the big day quickly approaching, the final touches for the wedding were being locked down, including the food menu for the reception. He said Harry and Meghan had been to several sampling sessions back in March.
