Mountain View Police Release Body Cam Video of Interaction With YouTube Shooter

The former Sky News Australia executive editor Robert Raschke must not approach or be in the company of his wife Rachel within 12 hours of drinking alcohol or taking illicit drugs

However, PIO Nelson said that officers did not re-contact Nasim Aghdam.

On this April three image from video provided by the Mountain View Police Division, Nasim Aghdam is questioned by officers after being found asleep in her automotive.

Cops found Aghdam, 38, asleep in the back of her parked vehicle in a Walmart parking lot in Mountain View, California - about 30 miles south of YouTube's San Bruno headquarters - around 1:40 a.m. April 3, the Mountain View Police Department said. About 10 hours later, Aghdam opened fire on an outdoor patio on the YouTube campus in San Bruno, wounding three before she shot and killed herself.

A still from a video released by the Mountain View Police Department on April 13, 2018 shows officers' interaction with the YouTube shooter Nasim Aghdam earlier in the month.

A woman claims YouTube "discriminated and filtered" her content in a video posted in 2017.

"I left my family...."

A female cop asks: 'Are you taking any type of medication at all?' Aghdam responded, "No." Police asked her if she planned to hurt herself or others, and she said "no" to all these questions.

When asked how long she had been in Mountain View, Aghdam answered: "I came here two days ago". "And you don't wanna hurt anyone else?" the officer then asked.

A physical confrontation took place and, with assistance from other officers, Allen was taken into custody. This photo provided by the Yarmouth Police Department shows Tom Latanowich, of Somerville, Mass.

Aghdam, 39, was reported missing by her family the day before but when officers spoke to her, she insisted she'd left her home in San Diego because she was not getting along with her family.

And later, her father explained to reporters that she felt she hadn't been properly compensated by YouTube for her videos on vegan activism.

Aghdam had legally purchased the 9mm handgun that she used in the shooting in January and had visited a gun range the morning of the shooting, police have said.

The father reportedly thanked the officer for the call and hung up.

Nasim Aghdam: (Shakes her head no) Officer: "You don't want to commit suicide or anything like that right?" The father suggested that may have been one of the reasons she was in the area.

The uncut video at no point shows the officers asking Aghdam whether she was armed. Aghdam was sleeping inside and a check of her records did not reveal any instances or threats of violence.

In the press release, Mountain View police cited the Penal Code section that defines what constitutes an "at risk" person, which includes but is not limited to "a person missing because of circumstances including being the victim of a crime or foul play, needing medical attention, having no pattern of running away or disappearing, being the victim of parent/family abduction, or being mentally impaired".
