Thomas Lemar hopes Liverpool and Arsenal return in summer

Thomas Lemar

Lemar looked to follow Silva and Mendy to the Premier League, and was strongly linked with Arsenal over the summer.

Monaco forward Thomas Lemar says he was disappointed not to complete a move to Anfield in January.

After the Arsenal interest seemed to die down, there was rumoured interest from Liverpool, the Reds allegedly lining up potential Philippe Coutinho replacements should they have made a decision to sell the Brazilian in the summer.

As well as the Gunners and Liverpool, other major clubs, including Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, are also monitoring the situation of the £90million-rated Lemar, who is refusing to rule out any option regarding his future.

Lemar originally joined Monaco in 2015 and rose to prominence last season, scoring nine and assisting 11 to help his side win Ligue 1.
