BLU today introduced the Vivo X, its newest flagship Android smartphone.
The Vivo Xfeatures a 6.0-inch, 18:9 widescreen display with 1440 x 720 resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection, a 2.6 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio chip and four cameras. Above that display is a dual front-facing camera setup with one 20MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP camera with wide angle lens. In fact, the rear camera features a dual configuration (13MP + 5MP) that'll deliver those bokeh effects that have been synonymous with phones of late. Blu explains the logic in the press release: "When it comes to cameras, two is better than one, and four is better than two". The BLU Vivo X is now listed on Amazon complete with a 6-inch screen with 18:9 HD+ display and advance quad cameras. The second rear camera at 5 megapixel captures the depth of field to take the ideal picture, the company claims. The dual system on the back comprises of a 13 MP + 5 MP arrangement with f/2.0 aperture, while for selfies you get 20 MP + 8 MP sensors (also with f/2.0 aperture) capable of 120-degree wide-angle shots.
It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. Needless to say, they're able to cram a whole lot into the BLU VIVO X. Flaunting all of last year's trend into a premium looking body, the BLU VIVO X certainly has a potential to attract buyers with its hard-to-beat price of $199.99 on Amazon, which is available for a limited time as a launch deal. The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Two cameras on the back are pretty much common by now, but two cameras on the front bring a feature that has quickly gained popularity: bokeh, a.k.a. portrait mode.
