Kevin Durant's Latest Online Video Project Is A Scripted Show For Apple

The Warriors' superstar will serve as executive producer, with his company, Thirty Five Media, co-producing the series along with Imagine Television.

Grazer said he has been looking for the opportunity to revisit the world of Friday Night Lights when he met Durant at Google's summer gathering of power players in Sicily known as The Camp.

The nine-time All-Star forward is now in his second season with the Golden State Warriors and averaging 25.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game.

Announced on Durant's Twitter account, the series titled "Swagger" will take a look at the fascinating world of AAU basketball with Durant at the center of it all.

Variety reported on Tuesday that Apple is making a TV show based on Durant's life as part of the company's push into making digital content for its slate of original series.

Apple is developing a TV drama called Swagger, inspired by Kevin Durant's childhood. Swagger is taking the latter route, joining drama Are You Sleeping starring Octavia Spencer and Little America, a half-hour anthology series from Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, the Oscar-nominated writers of indie hit The Big Sick.
