Rhian Brewster: Liverpool report alleged racial abuse of striker during youth game
Liverpool will make an official complaint to UEFA after striker Rhian Brewster says he was racially abused by a Spartak Moscow player during the UEFA Youth League game which took place earlier today.
Brewster was a key part of the England squad that won the Under-17 World Cup in India in October, scoring a hat-trick in the semi-final against Brazil.
Brewster informed referee Mohammed Al-Hakim of the alleged abuse and this information has already been passed on to the fourth official.
The England Under-17 global was left incensed over an incident that occurred during Wednesday's UEFA Youth League clash in Prenton Park.
A report from the Daily Telegraph also notes that neither set of players shook hands at the final whistle and that Brewster was "visibly distressed" by the ordeal.

LaVar Ball pulls son LiAngelo Ball out of UCLA
LaVar Ball said earlier Monday that he hadn't informed the UCLA coaching staff that he was pulling LiAngelo. During the past three games, opponents are shooting just 35.7 percent from the field.
Youth team manager Steven Gerrard later confirmed that Liverpool would be looking into the incident, although he preferred to focus on footballing matters. It's something that the club will look into and deal with.
'The only thing missing from his performance was a goal.
Back in September, Nigeria-born forward Bobby Adekanye was subjected to racist chants and monkey gestures from Spartak supporters in the reverse fixture in Russian Federation.
Their punishment for Adekanye's treatment amounted to a slap on the wrist, with UEFA forcing them to leave 500 seats empty during their Youth League clash with Maribor last month.
The two senior sides meet at Anfield on Wednesday evening.
