Dead & Company have postponed tonight's concert in New Orleans after member John Mayer was admitted to the hospital.

John Mayer was admitted into a hospital earlier this morning after experiencing significant abdominal pain, and is preparing to receive an emergency appendectomy.

Mayer is on tour playing guitar with The Dead and Company and is now in New Orleans.

The show will be rescheduled, and tickets for tonight's postponed concert will be honored at that later date.
