Russell suffered a knee injury at the end of the Nets' loss last Saturday night at Utah. This isn't the first time that he has dealt with knee issues as he suffered two separate knee injuries past year with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was expected to miss several games following the injury, and it looks like that will be the case. In his absence, the Nets will likely continue to roll with backup Spencer Dinwiddie as the starting point guard moving forward. He is the first player in franchise history to record 25-plus points, six-plus 3-pointers made and eight-plus assists with no turnovers in a game.
