Ottawa Redblacks celebrate touchdown by performing all-human limbo

An all-West Division match-up at the Grey Cup remains a possibility after the Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 31-20 in the Eastern Semifinal on Sunday at TD Place Stadium.

The Grey Cup championship is set for November 26.

Kevin Glenn threw for 252 yards and one touchdown as the Roughriders rode a hot start to the contest to a thoroughly dominant display in the nation's capital. Thigpen broke the game open in the 3rd quarter when he took a handoff and ran 75 yards for a touchdown to make it 31-14.

In his first career playoff start, Redblacks quarterback Trevor Harris had over 400 yards passing with two TDs and two interceptions. He's scheduled to become a free agent in February. They earned the East's final playoff seed after amassing more points than the third-place Hamilton Tiger-Cats. During the CFL's Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Ottawa Redblacks celebrated a touchdown against the Saskatchewan Roughriders in a way that would make their National Football League brethren proud.

Maher's 29-yard field goal at 8:04 cut Saskatchewan's lead to 28-14 but the Riders countered with Tyler Crapigna's 31-yard boot to end the third for a 31-14 advantage.

The Redblacks receiver and return specialist did everything in his power to keep the home team within reach of the game, especially in the first half as the Roughriders began to assert their dominance. Saskatchewan led 28-11 and never looked back.

Vernon Adams Jr. and Bakari Grant had Saskatchewan's other touchdowns.

Harris and co. responded on the second play of their first offensive drive, as the REDBLACKS pivot bombed a 56-yard pass to Diontae Spencer for a major; Harris then lofted a successful two-point convert to Juron Criner.

Adams Jr. gave Saskatchewan a 21-8 half-time advantage with a one-yard TD run at 10:26 of the second quarter.

Saskatchewan also forced two key turnovers.

Glenn's one-yard TD run at 5:54 gave Saskatchewan a 14-8 lead, capping an eight-play, 82-yard march.
