Jaguars' Lambo beats the Chargers 20-17 in OT

Defense, special teams help Jaguars score a 20-17 overtime win over the Chargers

Bouye interception and Josh Lambo's 30-yard field goal.

With games against Cleveland, Arizona and Indianapolis in the next three weeks, the Jaguars have a chance to take control of the division.

From bad decisions by Bortles that produced interceptions to a forced turnover by the Jaguars defense, the last two minutes of the game were full of miscues and surprises. Ekeler was the Chargers' leading rusher and receiver on Sunday.

Bortles threw another interception.

Still, the Jaguars weren't done. The Jaguars needed a special teams trick play to find the end zone at the end of the first quarter, while the Chargers failed to add points until their final drive of the first half. The 15-yard penalty took the Jaguars into comfortable field goal territory, and despite an emergency long-snapper the penalty was made to count as the Jags hit a late kick to take the game to overtime.

Bortles completed seven passes for 84 yards and a touchdown during the series. The noticeable trust he has in his receivers, especially Marqise Lee, Marcedes Lewis and Leonard Fournette is allowing Blake to throw on time and letting guys run themselves open.

Riding the momentum, the Jaguars defense stopped the Chargers pretty consistently holding LA to only a FG and a 17-14 lead. Odd things happen in Duvall County, and the Chargers special teams unit learned that on a fake punt touchdown.

Mexico boss: West Ham striker Chicharito won't worry about Moyes bustup
His potential suitors also are wary of signing him on a permanent deal for now until he proves he is over his long term injury problems.

One of the most surprising teams in football this year has been the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both the TD throw and the subsequent two-point conversion were thrown on time, with Lee making great catches on both and Bortles showing great patience. The interception gave the ball back to Los Angeles with 1:51 left in the game.

After the Chargers blocked the extra point, the Jaguars lead 6-0 heading into the second quarter.

With Rivers in the shotgun, Ekeler was lined up wide right and receiver Keenan Allen was in the slot. Bouye intercepted a pass from Philip Rivers on third down and returned it to the 2-yard line. But the next three plays: Fournette run for a loss of one, Bortles sacked for a loss of six and Bortles run for 11 that set up fourth-and-6 from the 35. Bortles was forced to get rid of the pass quickly when right guard A.J. Cann whiffed on Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, who supplied pressure on the play. In the first quarter Jacksonville faked a punt and backup running back Corey Grant, perhaps inspired by his alma-mater Auburn's 40-17 shellacking of then-top-ranked Georgia on Saturday, ran 56 yards for a touchdown.

Up 37 early in the season against Baltimore in London, Jacksonville decided not to limit themselves.

Fournette was held to 21 yards on nine carries, and the Jaguars totaled just 160 yards of offense while punting on their four drives other than Grant's touchdown run and a possession that resulted in the end of the first half.

Los Angeles could not get another first down and punted.
