Crooked Navy SEALs May Be Behind Murder Of Green Beret

Sgt. Logan Melgar

Gen. Donald Bolduc, then commander of Special Operations Command-Africa, was suspicious of the two SEALs' story from the start.

But an autopsy reportedly found no drugs or alcohol in his system. The SEALS offered to cut him in, but Melgar declined, the anonymous troops told The Daily Beast. The Beast reports that Melgar had spoken to his wife about "the bad feeling" he had about two SEALs in question, yet he didn't elaborate why he felt that way. According to the Daily Beast, two special operations sources say that Melgar discovered the SEALs were pocketing money from a fund used to pay informants.

Staff Sgt. Logan Melgar was found dead in embassy housing and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service is probing his death as a homicide.

.

How much time elapsed between Melgar's discovery of the scheme and his untimely death is unclear, but the official narrative suggests an altercation between the Green Beret and the SEAL team erupted June 4 at 5am, and quickly escalated.

Late last month we learned that two Navy SEALs were under investigation for the mysterious death of an Army Green Beret in June.

"Staff Sgt. Melgar did what most only dream of and excelled at every turn!"

According to United States officials, he stopped breathing at around 5am and attempts to reopen his airway failed.

When that failed to revive him, the two SEALs told another Green Beret on the operation that Melgar was unconscious, and the three of them took him to a French clinic for help.

Banerjee, who sent the legal notice to Roy, has however demanded an "unconditional apology" in 48 hours. It is a 100% government owned company.

Melgar then passed out, and their efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

The SEALs reportedly came up with an alibi even worse than the MMA story.

The SEAL pair then tried to cover their involvement by telling superiors that Melgar was drunk during combatives - or hand-to-hand fighting exercises - and that is how he got himself knocked out and killed.

Melgar's cause of death was asphyxiation, according to a defense official familiar with the findings of the medical examiner's report. According to the New York Times, Melgar's superiors in Stuttgart, Germany suspected foul play nearly immediately, and an investigating officer was on the scene within a day.

The two SEALs claimed Melgar was intoxicated during some impromptu sparring sessions in the Bamako compound, where Petty Officer Anthony E. DeDolph (a mixed martial arts pro, according to The Intercept) placed Melgar in a chokehold.

The investigation was fist reported by the New York Times and has sent shock-waves through the special-op community. He graduated from Special Forces Qualification in 2016. He served two deployments to Afghanistan.

Melgar, a graduate of Texas Tech University, joined the Army in 2012 and was assigned to the 3rd Special Forces Group, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
