John Lewis Christmas advert 2017'leaked: The viral video is called The Fox and the Mouse

The John Lewis logo flashed up at the end - but you may have realised it wasn't the real thing when the fox remained trapped under the ice, making the ad not just sad but extremely depressing. One: you start feeling the urge for pigs in blankets, getting lashed at 9am and pretending you like that jumper your nan bought for you.

The John Lewis Christmas advert 2017 was finally revealed on Friday morning, as fans eagerly waited to meet Moz the Monster.

The advert features Moz the Monster who lives under a little boy's bed.

Two years ago it was Oasis, this year, it's an Elbow cover of the Beatles' Golden Slumbers. Sounds like a standard Xmas on the piss.
