Body of sixth victim pulled from rubble of partially collapsed Izhevsk house

A terrible accident happened in Izhevsk – the explosion there was a collapse of the whole entrance of the nine-floor house

The sixth body was discovered earlier Friday, an emergencies ministry official told AFP.

Officials said more people are believed to remain under the debris.

Nine floors have collapsed in a residential buildings in Russia's Izhevsk leaving several people injured, according to the Emergencies Ministry. "All of the injured are teenagers, one of them is in hospital in moderately severe condition", the official said. Witnesses reported hearing an explosion just before the building disintegrated. "We saw a young woman bleeding, she was apparently hit by shrapnel in her head".

A group of 100 dogs specially trained for rescue operations and special night-work equipment with drones were sent to Izhevsk.
