Sergio Aguero reportedly injured in auto accident in Holland

Man City’s Aguero hurt in car crash report

SERGIO AGUERO cheated death with just broken ribs in a late-night horror vehicle smash in Holland, according to reports.

Aguero was thought to have been wearing his seatbelt but is thought to have still suffered broken ribs. Aguero was reportedly taken to a local hospital.

Aguero had reportedly been at a concert by Colombian singer Maluma and on his way back to the airport when the driver lost control.

This is a massive blow for Manchester City, who have been flying high in the English Premier League this season, but it could be even worse for Argentina.

Former club Independiente seemingly confirmed the news with a tweet wishing the forward well, saying: "Strength and quick recovery".

City go into the match three points ahead of the London side.

In addition, Aguero will nearly surely miss Argentina's decisive World Cup qualifiers against Peru (Oct. 5) and Ecuador (Oct. 10).

Since moving to the Etihad Stadium six years ago, Aguero has been part of two Premier League winning teams, famously scoring the goal that clinched the title in the closing minutes of the 2011/12 season.
