North Korea reacted sharply to the threat of trump

TENSIONS RISE AGAIN! Trump has risked more fury from Kim Jong-un with more sanctions

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Thursday accused US President Donald Trump of exhibiting a "mentally deranged behavior" and threatened him with a harsh response, in a statement carried by the state news agency.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un had Twitter users rushing to dictionaries as he revived a centuries-old insult.

According to Unification Ministry spokesman Baik Tae-hyun, it was the first time that the North issued a statement under the title of the "Supreme Leader" and the "chairman of the State Affairs Commission", indicating Kim's personal determination.

Kim's foreign minister told reporters this past week that the North's response to Trump "could be the most powerful detonation of an H-bomb in the Pacific".

Kim responded in a statement Thursday saying Trump will "pay dearly" for his address to the United Nations and that North Korea is considering the strongest possible response to what he called the US president's provocation.

This came just hours after North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, said that Donald Trump would "pay dearly" for threatening to destroy his regime, during his United Nations speech on Tuesday. "Crazy American gedugan will be required to tame the fire", - said the North Korean dictator.

His comments came after Trump ordered new sanctions on individuals, companies and banks doing business with North Korea as he sought to further isolate the regime and increase economic pressure for it to curb its weapons programmes.

All of North Korea's nuclear tests (six total) have thus far been underground.
