Just nine days after he had made them so happy, the champion of their anti-immigration fantasies had betrayed them.

Falling nearly two weeks after President Donald Trump announced that he would terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, the event aimed to shine a light on Christian ethics while putting pressure on Congress to pass legislation to protect young immigrants from deportation. "Really", Trump tweeted Thursday.

"A re-elect in 2020 would be very hard for the President if amnesty goes with DACA and if a wall is not at least under robust construction by then", King said on CNN's "Erin Burnett OutFront", referring to a reported deal on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that Democrats signaled Trump made with them Wednesday. He also said that the suit seeking to preserve DACA had "fundamental flaws".

"No deal was made last night on DACA".

To some of his staunchest allies, the news smacked of unforgivable abandonment. Mills had previously denounced the decision to end DACA but is now among 19 attorneys general nationwide challenging Trump's move in court in two lawsuits. Joe Manchin, had backed Trump's decision to end the program, saying he was "firmly opposed to amnesty and am committed to ensuring our nation's immigration policies are constitutional and lawful".

"Why did we have an election", moaned Mike Cernovich, the pro-Trump personality who traffics in conspiracy theories. "We should care for them", Cross also said.

Flores said, after following the back-and-forth, "Even if Trump tells us that he's 100 percent with us, we know it's not really up to him". "No promise is credible". That sounds an terrible lot like the sort of politician Trump supporters were sick of-the sort that makes extraordinary promises, quietly drops them once in government, and blames everybody else for his failure.

"I've joined the DREAM Act which would legalize their status in this country permanently".

At the same time, the complaint states, it is illegal for San Jose to terminate employees due to their nationality or immigration status.

Obama said he was against that sort of thing before he was for it. "Where are your kids going to live?"

U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos said in a statement earlier this month that her "heart" is with the Dreamers but that it's up to Congress to give them legal protections. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said today that his former presidential primary challenger was never that into deportation in the first place.

IPhone X: How outrageous is that $999 price tag?
Frankly, we're just confused by the iPhone 8 - the regular phone - since it's basically a slightly refreshed regular sized phone. But maybe the biggest effect of such a big and compelling screen is that it makes your phone more attractive and enticing.

No Sherman against 49ers? No problem
While both corners proved to be up to the challenge, each will likely be counted on to play large roles again against the 49ers. And typically the Seahawks have beaten the 49ers by getting back to basics, averaging 160 yards rushing in those four wins.

Trump's tweets after London attack draw anger from the UK
At first she said the nationwide terror threat level would remain at "severe", and that it was under review. He also tweeted that "these are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard".

But he said even a bad deal would have a "minimal" impact on Trump voters like himself.

San Jose is suing President Trump for moving to rescind Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), claiming that his action is unconstitutional and has caused harm to the city, residents and employers. He said during the next two years, with the repeal of DACA, these workers will be subject to rolling deportations. It was created by Obama without legislation. The Hill reported that Rep. King had earlier tweeted that if the reports of a deal on the Dreamers were true, the "Trump base is blown up, destroyed, irreparable, and disillusioned beyond fix".

Later Thursday, a White House adviser said the Trump administration would discuss a potential path to citizenship for DACA recipients.

"It's opened up a whole world for me", he said.

It is easy to take for granted obtaining a driver's license when in California the law allows a person as young as 15 1/2 to get a driver's permit.

The context for Trump's shift was especially infuriating to his conservative allies.

West Virginia Republican Congressman Evan Jenkins, who is vying to challenge Democratic Sen. "He likes me, anyway".

Dreamers were not ready to celebrate, noting that Trump often changes his mind and that congressional Republicans leaders had not bought in.

"This is looking good".

Poor Ann Coulter, seemingly whipsawed on a weekly basis by Trump's political gyrations, exhibited her trademark reticence, declaring the president "dead", advocating Trump's impeachment and musing about the glorious ascension of President Pence. I wouldn't want to be too optimistic because I see what happened with DACA.
