Confirmed Arsenal attacker secures move away from the Emirates

Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has emerged as a target for Marseille as they look to bring in a new forward before the close of the transfer window, sources close to the French club have told ESPN FC.

The Costa Rica global looks set for a sixth loan spell away from the Emirates Stadium, one of which saw him turn out for Betis in the 2012/13 season.

Lucas Perez has officially left Arsenal on loan to rejoin former club Deportivo La Coruna for the duration of the 2017/18 season.

Perez has only spent one season with the Gunners after arriving on a reported £17.1 million deal from Deportivo.

"Lucas returns to Deportivo, where he enjoyed a prolific campaign in 2015/16, equalling a club record for goals scored in successive games".
