Dow slips 100 points as tensions with North Korea escalate

North Korea on Thursday outlined details for a missile strike near the U.S. territory of Guam, adding fuel to rising tensions with the United States.

His order, reported in state media, came hours after US President Donald Trump late Tuesday warned Pyongyang not to "make any more threats" to the US, saying it would face a "fire and fury" response "like the world has never seen".

The data comes amid tepid inflation that has remained below the Fed's 2 percent target, despite low unemployment.
