Manchester United loan Borthwick-Jackson to Championship side Leeds United

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson

According to ESPN, Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has snubbed a move to the Netherlands with Ajax in order to join Leeds United on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old spent part of last season on loan at Wolves and will be hoping to play regular football under Thomas Christianson at Leeds in the current campaign.

Sky Sports says Borthwick-Jackson underwent a medical at Leeds yesterday ahead of a season-long loan move away from Old Trafford.

Borthwick-Jackson, who has made 14 senior appearances for the Premier League side, becomes Leeds' 11th signing of the summer.

Security Council, have consistently blocked meaningful action. " We are powerless, there is no justice for Syria ", she said. Even before announcing her resignation, Del Ponte had been openly critical of the U.N.

The 20-year-old made his breakthrough at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal, but has struggled to nail down a first-team spot since the Dutchman's departure.

He played just six Championship games for Wolves before being returned to United where he was told to play in the U23 squad, but he will now look to get back on track at Elland Road.

Instead, Borthwick-Jackson could be confirmed as a Leeds player today, and he will have a real shot at starting after left back Charlie Taylor left Leeds in order to join Burnley this summer.

The club have endured two injury setbacks at Bolton Wanderers on the first weekend of the Championship season and his arrival will be a massive boost.
